Visit https://www.peopleofvictoria.org/ A Message From Tash, The Founder Of #PEOPLEOFVICTORIA: I’ve started #PEOPLEOFVICTORIA to share my anguish over this draconian lockdown in Victoria that’s gone on for way too long. While people have called me selfish amongst other things I have done enough research to form my own beliefs about what lockdowns do as a whole. I have linked a video (part 1) in the below that everyone should watch and absorb, it is long and it may not change your mind on what is going on in Victoria (or around the world) but it was enough for me to express how I personally feel, what I personally believe and how many others feel as well. Enough is enough. My mental well-being matters and so does everyone else’s. Give us our freedom back." - Natasha - Founder of #PEOPLEOFVICTORIA & Founder of Beautiful Struggle Clothing ![]() #peopleofvictoria is a fantastic initiative to help you find your voice and wear your voice. #peepvic Say something and encourage others ! Everything has been taken away from me for 220+ days which has helped me cope and maintain my depression in the past — from my full time job in hospitality/tourism, family, friends, my gym community that made me feel part of something and so much more, all out of reach. I am running out of hope. Creativity is the only way I know how to express my grief. Most organisers have opted to scrap the community events with cancles in the parks and record ghost concerts instead. Those few councils or community groups who persevere will require approval from Scrooge (the WHO directed CHO) who is in charge of Christmas 2020. Communities will face attendance caps of 2000 and need a social distancing plan. In other words for larger communities the event is commercially no longer viable and communities would struggle to raise the required money to cover expenses. It woul also divide communities ino cans and cannots as many people would miss out. No wonder depression and suicides are on the rise. |
